This is caused by lines of code that include lambda expression. Here's the pom dependency it said to use. Im using jdk 8 with lambda in a web project with NetBeans, but when a deploy it to glassfish it shows me this error: : Uncompilable source code - Erroneous tree type: .I just went to maven's site and put in your artifact name. When you do a dependency:tree target, it will search through all the poms, including those in the $M2_HOME directories and display a tree showing all the dependencies. That pom is needed for it's (jar file) dependencies. Then traverse down using your jar name and do a dir command. Go to your home directory and look for ".m2"\repository. Logout and then login again in order that the changes in /etc/environment will take effect. Press the keyboard combination Ctrl + X to exit nano. ![]() That page will show also show you how to declare your dependencies in YOUR pom. Press the keyboard combination Ctrl + O and after that press Enter to save the file being edited in nano to its current location. Maven goes out and pulls in the jars, storing them in your $M2_HOME directory. Note that bug fixes in the previous BPR are also included in the current BPR. Bug fixes and any other changes are listed below in date order, most current BPR first. The following sections summarize changes made in all Java SE 8u301 BPRs. When you include a dependency, maven needs to know if THAT dependency has dependencies so it can pull in those jars too. Java SE 8u301 Bundled Patch Release (BPR) - Bug Fixes and Updates. For example, if we install Java 11 on an Ubuntu 18.04 system and donât set the JAVAHOME environment variable, Maven will still happily find our JDK and use it for the different goals, including compiling. ![]() ![]() It shows ALL the dependencies for your project, including the ones you've declared as dependencies. As usual with default settings, theyâre very helpful if we have a standard configuration. A lot of dependencies need associated jar files too.
